At the '2024 Best Car Awards' announced by 'Cars.com', a leading U.S. automobile specialist website, three Hyundai Motor Group models, including the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Genesis GV70 electrified model, and Kia Telluride, won awards.
The 2024 Best Car Awards are conducted by Cars.com editors who evaluate the quality, innovation, and value of newly released 2024 models, and are awarded a total of 6 awards, including Car of the Year, Best Electric Car, Best Luxury Car, Best Family Car, Best SUV, and Best Pickup Truck. The winner of the dog category will be determined.
Hyundai Motor Group was selected in three of these categories and was recognized for its outstanding product competitiveness. Hyundai Motor Company's IONIQ 5 was selected as the best electric vehicle last year, proving its excellent marketability.
Jenny Newman, editor-in-chief of Cars.com, said, “It is natural that the IONIQ 5 was selected for two years in a row,” adding, “It is an electric vehicle that balances fast charging, diverse and easy-to-use technical specifications, and innovative design.”
The GV70 electrified model won the Best Luxury Car category, being recognized as an electric vehicle with an elegant exterior, well-appointed interior, and impressive driving performance.
As a result, Genesis was named the best luxury car for two consecutive years, following last year's G90.
Kia Telluride was once again selected as the best family car for 2022. Cars.com evaluated the Telluride as a family car with three rows of spacious interior space and safety features.
Kia has won awards in this category for three consecutive years, including last year's Carnival, strengthening its position as a family car manufacturer with ample space and a variety of convenience features that consider passengers.
