They announced that they will begin pre-orders for the iconic off-roader SUV ‘Wrangler’, which has undergone partial changes for the first time in 6 years.
The New Wrangler, unveiled at the 2023 New York Auto Show, has an improved exterior design to further highlight its unique identity, interior and convenience specifications enhanced with advanced technology, improved off-road performance, and a driving safety convenience system.
The new Wrangler's exterior inherits its unrivaled off-road DNA while presenting a next-generation design direction. The seven-slot grille has been redesigned to become more compact, and the LED headlamp uses a surrounding ring light to emphasize the circular headlamp design that symbolizes the Wrangler.
In addition, this model is the first to apply a windshield-integrated stealth antenna, allowing the antenna to be protected from forward obstacles such as tree branches when driving off-road.
The interior is equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen as well as the Uconnect 5 system, which is up to 5 times faster than before by applying new hardware including a processor. In addition, T-map navigation, which is preferred by domestic consumers, has been built in to improve driving convenience.
Driving assistance systems and off-road performance have been further improved. More than 65 safety and security features assist drivers, including adaptive cruise control and Select-Terrain. The Dana 44 HD full-floating rear axle and 4:1 ratio lock-track part-time transfer case provide even more powerful off-road driving performance.
The New Wrangler is a model that will continue the unrivaled history of the traditional off-roader Wrangler with its upgraded exterior design and driving performance.
