August US sales were 86,664 units, up 22% from the same month last year.

Among the entire Genesis lineup, SUVs such as the GV70 and GV80 were popular.
Last month, the GV70 increased by 30% from a year ago, and the GV80 increased by 21%, breaking the monthly record.
A Hyundai official said, "We will focus on increasing eco-friendly vehicle sales through the global launch of the Casper EV, expanding the lineup of the dedicated electric vehicle brand Ioniq, developing hybrid technology, and expanding the lineup, and increasing market share and profitability by improving the mix centered on SUVs and high value-added vehicles."
