Range Rover Electric_Extreme Test

Range Rover Electric, the brand's first pure electric vehicle, is attracting attention as a model that will lead the way in powerful electric driving performance and a sophisticated and luxurious driving experience.

The Range Rover Electric prototype is currently testing the performance of the electric powertrain in extreme climate environments, from the Arctic Circle, where temperatures drop to minus 40 degrees Celsius, to the heat wave of the Middle East desert, where temperatures soar to +50 degrees Celsius.

As a result of this test conducted on an ice lake in Sweden, Range Rover proved the performance of its new fully electric driving system developed in-house. In addition, through this, it was confirmed that it can maintain its unrivaled 'all-terrain, all-weather driving ability' in all terrains, weather conditions, and road conditions, surpassing the performance of Range Rover, which has already built a high reputation in rough driving environments.

The new traction control system, first applied to a Range Rover, delivers excellent performance even on frozen icy roads or roads with low grip.

Innovative software developed in-house precisely controls wheel slip through true EDU speed control, reducing the need for ABS intervention. Through this excellent response and sophisticated configuration, Range Rover's overall driving experience was also greatly improved by maximizing driving power in any road condition.
This system coordinates with the stability control and chassis systems to provide an overall more sophisticated driving experience.
