According to related industries on the 6th, Kia plans to launch the new Ray EV in the domestic market in the third quarter of this year, and has recently completed noise and emission certification from the Ministry of Environment and started work on launching a new car at the end.
The new Ray EV is expected to secure a driving range of about 200 km on a single charge, nearly doubling the driving range compared to the previous one.
In addition to the passenger type, 1-seater and 2-seater van models are introduced, and it is expected that it can be used for various purposes such as logistics transportation, mobile store, and leisure according to the user's purpose and taste.
It is expected that the new Ray EV will be equipped with a 35.2kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery to secure price competitiveness and driving range. In addition, the electric motor output is also raised to 87 kW to compensate for the existing driving performance complaints.
