The new Santa Fe unveiled this time succeeded to the design concept of the first-generation Santa Fe, while at the same time completing a design optimized for urban and outdoor lifestyles through new changes.
The exterior of the new Santa Fe is based on a strong image of a boxy shape, and the unique silhouette derived from the long wheelbase and wide tailgate reveals a strong presence.
Hyundai Motor Company reflected the design of the H shape, which reinterpreted the emblem into an iconic shape, in the new Santa Fe.
The most eye-catching design is the H-lights on the front and rear of the vehicle. On the front, it is applied to the lamp that connects the headlamp and the left and right headlamps horizontally and long, realizing a wide stance. At the rear, the H light is reflected on the rear lamp to give a sense of unity with the front, while presenting the differentiated charm of Santa Fe.
The interior boasts ample living space to enjoy outdoor life anytime, anywhere, and was designed to blend naturally with the exterior with a layout emphasizing horizontal and vertical images. In particular, a large tailgate with a terrace concept was applied that extends the spatiality and openness of the interior design to the exterior.
The new Santa Fe tried to realize sustainability by using various eco-friendly materials. Materials using recycled plastic were applied to the suede headliner, floor mats, and second and third row seatbacks, and the crash pads and door trim covers were made of eco-friendly artificial leather.
Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor Company plans to disclose the main specifications and specifications of the new Santa Fe for the first time online on August 10th.
